Who Are Sister's Preserves?

I love to use local and homegrown ingredients, family recipes and eco-friendly packaging to make preserves people love. Much of the fruit and vegetables in my products are grown by me, or swapped with local friends and neighbours for jars

of jam, marmalade or mustard.

I started out by adapting my Mum's runner bean pickle recipe to use up some green tomatoes. The beetroot Chutney recipe comes from my Auntie Brenda and the Marmalade one from my Nanna.

Glass jars can be endlessly recycled, and I encourage customers to

return empties for re-filling.

The gift packaging uses cardboard, wood-wool, biodegradable cellophane and cotton or raffia ribbons.  I hope you enjoy browsing the range.

Our Preserving Story

Why Sister’s?

In 2016 I gave my brother, Anthony Rogers, a few jars of my green tomato chutney. He served some in baguettes and ploughman’s lunches in his deli. One of his customers liked it so much he asked if he could buy a jar. My brother replied, “Sorry, I don’t have any to sell, my sister makes it, I’ll ask her.” The next few times the customer came into the deli he asked, “Have you got any of your sister’s chutney?” ...and so the brand name was born!

Taste Deli in Warminster now sells Sister’s Chutney (my original green tomato recipe) as well as a range of other Sister’s preserves.
